Sequenties (2018)

In the Sequenties series, colour, rhythm, and fluidity resonate like sound. Created while listening to healing frequency music, the three works — DNA, Frequency, and Synchronicity — explore how vibration can be translated into visual form.

Each painting is executed on claybord with tempera and oil paint. The luminous qualities of tempera meet the depth and transparency of oil, allowing geometric and organic shapes to coexist in balance. This harmony of contrasts evokes a quiet pulse — the subtle rhythm of the body and the breath.

Inspired by the tradition of icon painting, each piece is framed by hand with gold leaf. The golden edge reflects the surrounding light, extending it beyond the surface of the work. As a result, each painting seems to radiate gently into the space around it, creating an atmosphere of calm, resonance, and renewal.

Together, DNA, Frequency, and Synchronicity form a visual sequence — an abstract meditation on vibration, perception, and the luminous link between inner and outer worlds.

This abstract small painting will decorate any place: small study rooms, sleeping rooms or in a corner of a more spacious place. It will illuminate dark corners.
