The 5 phases: Wood 2 : Eye of Spring/ Digital Eye

Digital Eye  was created at the moment when digital culture began transforming the way images are produced and perceived. The eye is composed of many small colour units that resemble pixels, evoking the structure of digital imagery.

A pixel-like eye emerging from fields of colour, created at the moment when digital culture began transforming visual perception. The work refers to the element Wood, associated with spring, vision, the liver and the planet Jupiter in Chinese cosmology.

Through the meeting of a traditional painting medium and a pixel-like structure, the work brings together ancient cosmological thought and the emerging digital gaze.

This medium sized square painting is 55 cm high on 55 cm wide will fit in every interieur. You can view each painting alone or in combination with one or more paintings of the same series. More paintings of the same size and theme will give a rythmic and dynamic style in your space.
