Plages, huîtres, racines… etc
What is my place in the world? Where do I come from? Where do I go to?
In “Plages, huîtres, racines… etc”, I used all kind of materials that I found and collected on beaches and in nature (sand, shells, plastic residue, algae etc.). I tored off roots from France, the Netherlands and Poland.
Then I assembled all those elements again, and created a new composition and experimented with all kind of techniques: collages, photography, paper marouflage, plexiglas etc. “Plages, huîtres, racines… etc” is about identity: a free association of words, languages, forms, and materials.
