In the series “Planets”: Venus

“I painted this series between 1991 and 1994: it is not only a celestial representation, but an attempt to paint my inner experience of the cosmos.

It echoes ancient spiritual traditions (alchemy, mythology, astrology). Each planet is linked to an energy, a metal, a state of consciousness.

Spiritually, it is a search for a personal cosmogony. It’s a way to connect creation to the order of the cosmos, to give a place to each energy. As a matter of fact each planet is a symbol of a state of soul or a vital force.”

Venus; In this symbolic painting, the planet Venus takes center stage as a sign of social harmony, love, and connection. The bees — masters of cooperation — represent the power of the collective and natural balance.

Inspired by both astronomy and astrology, this work links the rhythm of the universe with the rhythm of nature. Venus, as a bright celestial body and a symbol of beauty and harmony, forms the heart of this vibrant composition.

An ode to connection, collaboration, and the beauty of natural order.
